NALCO reported Q1 FY27 net profit of Rs.2,002.38 crore, up 88% from Rs.1,063.86 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations rose 39% to Rs.5,302.38 crore. The company posted record Q1 bauxite excavation at 19.52 lakh tonnes, record calcined alumina production at 5.77 lakh tonnes, and record alumina/hydrate sales at 3.47 lakh tonnes. Board recommended final dividend of Re.1 per share for FY26.
Strong quarterly beat with nearly doubled profits and record operational output, aided by favourable aluminium prices and higher domestic sales. Positive for shareholders.
