NALCO's Board has approved unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) and recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share (50% on face value of Rs. 5) for FY 2024-25, totalling Rs. 459.16 crore. This is in addition to two interim dividends of Rs. 4 each (Rs. 8 total) already paid during FY25, taking the full-year dividend to Rs. 10.50 per share. Standalone Q1 revenue rose to Rs. 3,806.94 crore (vs Rs. 2,856.10 crore in Q1 FY25), with profit after tax at Rs. 1,063.86 crore (vs Rs. 601.22 crore) — nearly a 77% year-on-year jump. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs. 5.79 versus Rs. 3.27 a year ago. The Board also appointed M/s. BSS & Associates as Cost Auditors for FY 2025-26. Final dividend is subject to shareholder approval at the 44th AGM.
Strong Q1 earnings growth and a robust total dividend of Rs. 10.50 per share for FY25 (likely yielding above 3% based on recent prices) should be positive for shareholders. The final dividend is pending AGM approval and will be paid within 30 days of declaration.
