NSDL's board approved unaudited financial results for Q2 and H1 FY26 (ended September 30, 2025). On a standalone basis, revenue from operations grew about 20.7% YoY to Rs 20,416 lakh in Q2, while net profit rose roughly 18% to Rs 12,041 lakh. For the half year, standalone revenue climbed about 20.2% YoY to Rs 36,512 lakh with PAT of Rs 20,304 lakh, supported by growth in depository and payments bank segments. On a consolidated basis, Q2 revenue was Rs 40,004 lakh (up 12% YoY) with PAT of Rs 11,039 lakh. The statutory auditor (K.C. Mehta & Co. LLP) issued an unqualified limited review report. The Karvy matter remains pending before the Supreme Court with no new provisioning required.
Strong top-line growth and steady margin performance signal healthy business momentum for retail shareholders; however, the unresolved Karvy Supreme Court case continues to be a watch point as any adverse ruling could create contingent liability.
