Natraj Proteins' Board approved the standalone unaudited results for the quarter and nine months ended 31 December 2025. Revenue from operations for the nine months came in at Rs 8,224.87 lakhs, down roughly 13% from Rs 9,472.51 lakhs in the same period last year. Q3 alone saw revenue drop to Rs 2,876.96 lakhs from Rs 3,340.74 lakhs, a fall of about 14% year-on-year. Despite the weaker top line, the company swung to a small profit after tax of Rs 2.67 lakhs for the nine months, against a loss of Rs 272.38 lakhs a year earlier. The turnaround was driven by Q3, which posted a standalone PAT of Rs 289.13 lakhs versus just Rs 3.31 lakhs in the year-ago quarter, while statutory auditor Bhutoria Ganesan & Co gave an unqualified limited review report.
The continued year-on-year revenue contraction is a worry, but the swing back to profitability suggests cost discipline is helping the bottom line. Investors should note that absolute profits remain thin and any slip in cost control could push the company back into loss.
