Natural Biocon (India) Ltd reported its audited financial results for Q4 FY25 and full year FY25. Full year revenue fell sharply to Rs. 834.81 lakhs from Rs. 1,353.37 lakhs in FY24, a decline of about 38%. Q4 FY25 revenue dropped to Rs. 135.14 lakhs compared to Rs. 1,136.95 lakhs in Q4 FY24. The company posted a loss of Rs. 48.62 lakhs in Q4 FY25 against a profit of Rs. 5.86 lakhs in the year-ago quarter. Full year net profit fell to Rs. 4.46 lakhs from Rs. 15.27 lakhs, with diluted EPS at Rs. 0.02. Total assets more than doubled to Rs. 3,852.22 lakhs, mainly due to fresh investments of Rs. 2,112.37 lakhs and an equity share issuance of about Rs. 1,945 lakhs during the year. The statutory auditor M/s Mayur Shah & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
Sharp revenue decline and a Q4 loss are negative signals for shareholders, though the company raised fresh equity capital to fund new investments. Overall earnings quality remains thin and the stock may see pressure given deteriorating operating performance, despite a clean audit opinion.
