Natural Capsules Limited reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results approved at its board meeting on August 4, 2025. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose to Rs 4,424.29 lakhs from Rs 3,913.59 lakhs YoY (about 13% growth), and net profit after tax jumped to Rs 252.30 lakhs from Rs 145.91 lakhs (about 73% growth), lifting EPS to Rs 2.44 from Rs 1.56. The consolidated picture was mixed: revenue grew to Rs 4,520.31 lakhs, but the company swung to a net loss of Rs 558.05 lakhs (vs a profit of Rs 60.33 lakhs a year ago), driven primarily by a Rs 698.55 lakh loss in the API segment as subsidiary Natural Biogenex (which began commercial operations only on March 31, 2025) incurred ramp-up costs, higher depreciation and finance costs. Auditor P. Chandrasekar LLP issued an unmodified limited review conclusion on both standalone and consolidated results, and there were no pending investor complaints during the quarter.
Standalone earnings are clearly improving with strong profit growth, which is a positive for shareholders, but the consolidated loss driven by the newly commissioned API subsidiary may weigh on sentiment until that business scales up and turns profitable.
