The Commissioner of Customs has revoked the suspension on warehousing operations of Navkar Corporation's Open Bonded Area (NSA1U019) located in Ajivali Village, Raigad district. Along with lifting the suspension, the authority imposed a small penalty of Rs. 1,50,000 (₹1.5 lakh) under Section 117 of the Customs Act, 1962. The order was dated August 1, 2025 and received by the company on August 4, 2025. This follows an earlier intimation from January 7, 2025 regarding the initial suspension. Operations at the bonded warehouse will now resume.
This is a net positive for Navkar Corporation — the suspension has been lifted, allowing the bonded warehouse to resume operations, while the penalty of just ₹1.5 lakh is immaterial relative to the company's size and should have no meaningful effect on financials or share price.
