Navneet Education reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs 394 crore for Q4 FY26 and Rs 1,683 crore for full year FY26, compared to Rs 389 crore and Rs 1,733 crore respectively in FY25. Revenue declined by approximately 3% year-on-year. Profit after tax dropped significantly to Rs 296 crore in FY26 from Rs 801 crore in FY25, primarily due to lower exceptional items (Rs 127 crore vs Rs 604 crore last year). The exceptional items included gain on divestment of K12 Techno Services investment (Rs 472 crore), fair valuation gains (Rs 210 crore), partly offset by impairment provisions. The auditor issued an unmodified opinion with no qualifications. The Board declared a second interim dividend of Rs 1.50 per share (75%).
The stock may see negative reaction as FY26 revenue and profit declined significantly versus FY25, though the underlying business excluding exceptional items shows some resilience. The dividend provides partial support for shareholders.
