NCC Limited reported a 6% year-on-year decline in consolidated total income to Rs 5,207.93 Crore for Q1 FY26, compared to Rs 5,558.33 Crore in Q1 FY25. Consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders fell to Rs 192.14 Crore from Rs 209.92 Crore, with EBITDA at Rs 456.12 Crore versus Rs 477.91 Crore. On a standalone basis, total income declined 7% YoY to Rs 4,429.64 Crore and net profit stood at Rs 190.10 Crore versus Rs 200.74 Crore. The company secured new orders worth Rs 3,658 Crore in the quarter, taking the consolidated order book to a robust Rs 70,087 Crore as of June 30, 2025. Statutory auditors S.R. Batliboi & Associates LLP issued an unmodified limited review report on the results. The board also approved the appointment of A S Krishnan as Head of Internal Audit, replacing K Krishna Rao who superannuated.
While the strong order book of over Rs 70,000 Crore provides revenue visibility, the YoY decline in both revenue and profitability in Q1 FY26 may weigh on short-term investor sentiment. Margin compression and softer execution need to be watched in coming quarters.
