NCL Industries has submitted its 43rd Annual Report for FY 2024-25 to the stock exchanges, along with the notice for the 44th AGM scheduled for September 25, 2025 to be held via video conferencing. Consolidated revenue declined to Rs 2,181.92 crore from Rs 2,559.64 crore in the previous year, while PAT fell to Rs 119.98 crore from Rs 146.03 crore. The Managing Director acknowledged that performance was below expectations due to weak cement demand, lower volumes, and price fluctuations, though the doors division grew 48% YoY. The company has declared a 30% dividend for the year. A new cement grinding unit near Visakhapatnam is nearing completion, which will lift cement capacity to about 4 million tons. Leadership changes were also announced, with Mrs. Renu Challu (ex-SBI Deputy MD) taking over as new Chairperson.
Shareholders should note the decline in both revenue (~15%) and profits (~18%) YoY, mainly due to weakness in the cement business. However, the company continues to reward shareholders with a 30% dividend and is investing in capacity expansion, which could support future growth once cement demand recovers.
