NCLAT stays liquidator appointment; RP keeps firm running as going concern

NCLAT has stayed the NCLT order dated December 2, 2025 that had rejected the resolution plan and appointed a liquidator for Goenka Diamond and Jewels. The Committee of Creditors holding 67.02% voting share and the Successful Resolution Applicant had appealed against this. Liquidator appointment is on hold and the existing Resolution Professional continues to run the company as a going concern. Next hearing is on January 8, 2026.
