NDTV's board approved September 2026 quarter results and plans to raise up to Rs 800 crore via unsecured perpetual debentures on private placement. Standalone Q2 revenue rose 22% to Rs 83.44 crore but net loss was Rs 59.03 crore; consolidated loss was Rs 63.51 crore. Standalone net worth is negative at minus Rs 162.85 crore and half-year operating cash outflow was Rs 84.43 crore. Prior periods were restated for the October 2025 amalgamation.
The Rs 800 crore raise may ease cash strain but adds interest costs. Losses, negative net worth and a Rs 420 crore tax demand keep risks high.
