Neeraj Paper Marketing Ltd reported a weak set of numbers for Q2 FY26. Revenue from operations fell to Rs. 3,485.66 lakhs, down roughly 38% from Rs. 5,612.20 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Half-year revenue stood at Rs. 8,273.48 lakhs versus Rs. 9,990.06 lakhs in H1 FY25, a decline of about 17%. Net profit for the quarter came in at Rs. 9.41 lakhs (vs Rs. 16.99 lakhs YoY), with half-year profit at Rs. 18.28 lakhs versus Rs. 31.24 lakhs. Profit before tax was Rs. 13.42 lakhs for the quarter, reflecting very thin margins in its paper trading business. The board approved the results on 13 November 2025, and statutory auditor Goel Singhal & Associates issued a clean (unqualified) limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Sharply lower revenue and profits signal continued weakness in the paper trading business, which could weigh on investor sentiment. However, the balance sheet strengthened with borrowings falling to about Rs. 537 lakhs from Rs. 1,096 lakhs and operating cash flow remaining strongly positive at Rs. 1,105 lakhs, providing some comfort on financial stability.
