Nelcast posted Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 345.4 Cr, up 2.8% YoY from Rs 336 Cr. EBITDA fell 37.9% to Rs 20.1 Cr with margin compressing 381 bps to 5.8%. PAT dropped 58.9% to Rs 5.1 Cr from Rs 12.5 Cr. Management cited elevated raw material costs from geopolitical issues and labour constraints. Tractor and CV segments stayed strong, exports improved sequentially. New products begin production in Q2 with ramp-up expected by H2 FY27.
Profitability sharply lower on cost pressures; management expects new products and price hikes to drive a gradual recovery in coming quarters.
