Standalone Q2 PAT grew 28 percent to Rs 347 lakhs YoY; H1 PAT rose to Rs 727 lakhs from Rs 387 lakhs. Consolidated revenue grew 6 percent to Rs 7,814 lakhs; operating margin expanded to 14.4 percent from 11.6 percent. Company invested Rs 19,110 lakhs (USD 20 million) in convertible debentures of Lunar Holdco (now Elveo Mobile), funded by Rs 19,510 lakhs of long-term borrowings. Consolidated debt-equity ratio jumped to around 1.76x. Q1 included Rs 94-106 lakhs exceptional reversal on Labour Code provisions.
Profit growth and margin expansion are positives. Sharp debt build-up for the CCD investment lifts interest costs and financial risk going forward.
