Neptune Logitek has informed the stock exchange that the Commissioner of Central Goods & Service Tax, Kutch (Gandhidham) has filed an appeal against an earlier order that was favourable to the company. The original order had dropped demands of Rs. 26,77,31,248 in service tax and Rs. 11,55,88,870 in CENVAT credit (totalling about Rs. 38.33 crore). The authority has now challenged that order under Case Nos. 0010443 and 0010444, and the company became aware of the appeal on June 4, 2026. The company has stated that there is no immediate impact on its operations. Any financial impact will depend on the outcome of the appeal and cannot be estimated at this stage.
The favourable tax order the company previously received is now under challenge, creating uncertainty around a potential Rs. 38+ crore liability, but nothing is payable immediately and the original relief remains in effect until the appeal is decided.
