Netlink Solutions reported Q1 FY26 results with total income of ₹233.26 lakhs, marginally down from ₹248.20 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Net profit stood at ₹173.73 lakhs (EPS ₹6.87), compared to ₹170.61 lakhs (EPS ₹6.75) in the same quarter last year. However, revenue from core operations collapsed to just ₹1.18 lakhs from ₹10.25 lakhs a year ago, and the Information Media segment recorded zero revenue versus ₹26.77 lakhs earlier. Nearly all of the company's income now comes from its Treasury segment (₹232.09 lakhs of other income), indicating the operating business has effectively dried up. Total expenses fell sharply to ₹35.17 lakhs from ₹55.27 lakhs, largely due to lower employee costs. The statutory auditor, Ladha Singhal & Associates, issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion.
For shareholders, the headline profit looks stable, but it is almost entirely propped up by investment/treasury income rather than actual business operations — the core IT services and media business is generating virtually no revenue, which is a significant red flag for long-term sustainability and may weigh on the stock over time.
