NHC Foods' board approved standalone and consolidated unaudited results for Q2 and H1 FY26 on November 14, 2025. Revenue from operations surged about 56% year-on-year to Rs 10,320.73 lakhs in Q2, and rose roughly 60% to Rs 21,371.62 lakhs for the half year. However, standalone profit after tax fell to Rs 134.91 lakhs in Q2 (from Rs 208.68 lakhs a year ago) and to Rs 301.51 lakhs for H1 (from Rs 370.31 lakhs), indicating margin pressure despite top-line growth. The auditor (JMMK & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter. The company also reviewed utilisation of proceeds from its recent rights issue and convertible warrants; 2.10 crore warrants were converted into equity on October 27, 2025, bringing in about Rs 1.97 crore.
Strong revenue growth is a positive, but declining profits and a sharply negative operating cash flow of Rs -1,233 lakhs in H1 point to working-capital stress, likely from very high trade receivables. Shareholders should watch for collection of dues and margin recovery before taking a constructive view on the stock.
