Nippon Life India Asset Management reported strong FY26 results with revenue from operations growing 22% to Rs 2,527.55 crore from Rs 2,065.20 crore in FY25. Profit after tax increased 19.6% to Rs 1,497.75 crore versus Rs 1,252.23 crore previously. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 12.50 per share, taking total FY26 dividend to Rs 21.50 per share (including Rs 9.00 interim dividend). The statutory auditors issued unmodified opinion but included an Emphasis of Matter regarding a SEBI show cause notice for alleged non-compliance with mutual fund investment guidelines; no provisions were made as the company is in settlement proceedings. The Board also approved new ESOS 2026 scheme (up to 91.72 lakh options), granted additional stock options/PSUs, and announced leadership changes including appointment of Mr. Hironao Kunita as Non-Executive Director and Mr. Saugata Chatterjee as Deputy CEO.
The 22% revenue growth and ~20% PAT growth indicate solid operational performance. The SEBI show cause notice remains a regulatory risk to monitor. The enhanced dividend payout signals confidence. Shareholder approval needed for the new ESOS 2026 scheme.
