Nippon Life India Asset Management reported its highest-ever quarterly operating profit and profit after tax for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations rose to ₹563.54 crore, up about 21% year-on-year from ₹466.27 crore, while standalone profit after tax grew to ₹385.29 crore from ₹316.64 crore, a rise of nearly 22%. On a consolidated basis, total income stood at ₹752.61 crore and PAT was ₹396.12 crore, up 19% year-on-year. The company also announced a ₹10 per share final dividend for FY25 (paid July 21, 2025) and an amendment to its ESOP 2019 plan to extend the exercise window from 7 to 9 years. The auditor (S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP) issued an unmodified limited review, but flagged uncertainty around a SEBI show-cause notice related to certain mutual fund scheme investments.
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth, rising market share in mutual fund AUM (8.49%, up 29 bps), and the highest-ever quarterly PAT are positive signals for shareholders. The SEBI show-cause notice remains an open regulatory overhang, but no provision has been made, and management is engaging with the regulator.
