On the reaction day the stock moved 1.6 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.7 pts less than its Asset Management Company peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The board approved consolidated revenue of Rs 795.75 crore for the September quarter, up 21% from Rs 658.12 crore a year earlier, while profit after tax declined 6% to Rs 324.37 crore. A Rs 96.76 crore exceptional charge covered the SEBI settlement and management-fee reversal. Half-year operating cash flow was Rs 637.59 crore. An interim dividend of Rs 9.50 per share is payable from November 5.
Revenue growth and the dividend support sentiment, but lower quarterly profit, the one-time charge and pending SEBI order may limit near-term gains.
