Nirlon Limited reported total income of ₹68,332.27 lakhs for FY26, up 5.9% from ₹64,496.87 lakhs in FY25, driven by revenue from operations growing 5.2% to ₹66,917.12 lakhs. Profit after tax surged 58.5% to ₹34,598.17 lakhs versus ₹21,818.85 lakhs, boosted by a one-time deferred tax reversal of ₹6,950.51 lakhs following the company's switch to the new tax regime under Section 115BAA. EPS more than doubled from ₹24.21 to ₹38.39 per share. The company maintained strong cash flow from operations at ₹47,748.42 lakhs and declared a total dividend of ₹30 per share (₹15 interim already paid, ₹15 final recommended). Borrowings remained largely flat at ₹1,14,689.76 lakhs.
The sharp PAT growth is partly inflated by a one-time tax benefit; stripping that out, underlying earnings growth is solid given higher revenue and improved cost efficiency. The recommended dividend signals management confidence, but the heavy debt load (₹1,14,666.63 lakhs non-current borrowings) warrants monitoring.
