Nirlon Ltd reported total income of Rs 33,590.08 lakhs for H1 FY26, up about 4.8% from Rs 32,042.22 lakhs in H1 FY25, with revenue from operations at Rs 32,830.45 lakhs versus Rs 31,671.26 lakhs. Profit before tax rose to Rs 18,318.51 lakhs from Rs 16,474.13 lakhs, and reported profit after tax jumped to Rs 20,607.15 lakhs from Rs 10,631.84 lakhs, helped significantly by a one-time Rs 6,950.51 lakhs reversal of deferred tax liability after the company opted for the new concessional tax regime under Section 115BAA. EPS for H1 stood at Rs 22.87 versus Rs 11.80 last year. The company also paid a final dividend of Rs 11 per share (Rs 9,912.98 lakhs) for FY25 during September 2025. Auditor S R B C & Co. LLP issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Core earnings growth is healthy but the headline PAT surge is largely driven by a one-time tax adjustment rather than operations, so investors should look through it to assess underlying performance. The balance sheet shows high leverage with borrowings of Rs 1,14,657.50 lakhs against equity of Rs 46,386.89 lakhs (debt-equity around 2.5x), which is a key risk factor to monitor.
