Nitta Gelatin India reported FY25 standalone revenue of ₹527.45 crore, up about 11.5% from ₹472.97 crore in FY24, while standalone profit after tax was almost flat at ₹82.21 crore versus ₹82.49 crore last year (lower other income offset revenue growth). Q4 FY25 standalone PAT rose roughly 17.7% YoY to ₹19.17 crore. The results include exceptional items of ₹12.00 crore — a ₹5.32 crore reversal of old impairment provision at the Reva Division and a ₹6.68 crore profit on sale of the unused Aroor seafood processing facility. The Board has recommended a total dividend of ₹8 per equity share (₹6 regular + ₹2 special to mark the company's golden jubilee year), which works out to 80% on the ₹10 face value. Cash and equivalents jumped sharply from ₹30.16 crore to ₹103.70 crore on a standalone basis, with positive operating cash flow of ₹60.69 crore. The consolidated auditor has included an Emphasis of Matter noting that subsidiary Bamni Proteins Limited is no longer treated as a going concern after being shut down following a Maharashtra Pollution Control Board order and the lack of a viable solution to resume operations.
Shareholders get a generous dividend payout supported by a strong cash balance, but core operating margins are under pressure as expenses grew faster than revenue. The shutdown of the Bamni Proteins subsidiary and its non-going-concern status is a known overhang, though the main gelatin business continues to perform steadily.
