Nivaka Fashions reported sharply weaker results for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2025. Total operating income for H1 FY26 collapsed to about Rs. 948 lakhs, down from Rs. 10,832 lakhs in H1 FY25 — a drop of over 90%. Revenue in Q2 FY26 also appears negligible versus Rs. 11,651 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Net loss for H1 FY26 widened to Rs. 107.13 lakhs from Rs. 53.89 lakhs a year ago, with the full-year FY25 having actually delivered a small profit of Rs. 50.97 lakhs. Operating cash flow remained negative at Rs. (2.22) lakhs in H1 FY26. On the balance sheet, reserves and surplus deteriorated to a deeply negative Rs. (175.38) lakhs (from Rs. (68.25) lakhs at March 2025), pointing to heavy accumulated losses. Cash on hand is thin at just Rs. 9.46 lakhs. The auditor (ADV & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report, noting only that certain loans, advances and debtor/creditor balances are subject to management confirmation.
Very negative for shareholders — a near-total revenue collapse combined with widening losses and depleted equity raises serious questions about the company's viability and turnaround prospects. Expect continued pressure on the stock given the scale of the earnings deterioration and weak cash position.
