The Government of India, promoter of NLC India, is exercising the oversubscription option in its Offer for Sale. It will sell an additional 1.38 crore shares on top of the base 2.77 crore shares. Total OFS size now stands at 4.16 crore shares, 3 percent of paid-up capital. Non-retail bidding on June 9, retail on June 10. Ten percent reserved for retail, plus up to 25,000 shares for employees.
Larger OFS may pressure stock price short-term; retail investors get more allocation opportunity on June 10.
