NLC India's board approved an interim dividend of 15% (Rs 1.5 per share) for FY 2026-27, with 12 November 2026 as the record date. Consolidated Q2 revenue rose to Rs 4,732 crore and profit attributable to owners jumped to Rs 1,381 crore, helped by a deferred tax credit. The board also approved up to Rs 2,500 crore of bonds, a 660 MW Ghatampur expansion and sale of up to 10 crore NIRL shares for its planned IPO.
Dividend of Rs 1.5 per share supports shareholders, but the planned bond raise and sale of NIRL shares may add funding and dilution concerns.
