NLC India posted Q1 FY27 standalone revenue of Rs 2,871.73 cr (up about 15% YoY) and PAT of Rs 374.28 cr. Consolidated revenue jumped about 23% to Rs 4,716.75 cr, though consolidated PAT fell to Rs 436.33 cr vs Rs 839.21 cr last year due to lower deferred tax credit. Ghatampur Unit-3 (660 MW) achieved COD on June 13, fully commissioning the 1,980 MW project. Government raised about Rs 1,260 cr via a 2.73% OFS. Auditors flagged an Emphasis of Matter on a Rs 413.64 cr regulatory deferral liability tied to a sub-judice VSVS dispute.
Strong revenue growth from new thermal capacity commissioning; VSVS sub-judice matter remains a watch item for shareholders.
