Q2 and H1 FY26 results were approved. Standalone profit rose 43% to Rs 485.49 crore, but consolidated profit fell 26% to Rs 724.80 crore. Q2 revenue was Rs 2,564.91 crore standalone and Rs 4,178.41 crore consolidated. Auditors said Neyveli land shortage could create uncertainty over future operations and highlighted a Rs 407.32 crore disputed liability. The board approved Rs 1,200 crore refinancing and up to Rs 666 crore renewable investment.
Lower consolidated profit and Neyveli uncertainty may weigh on sentiment. Refinancing eases funding pressure; renewable projects require capital.
