Standalone Q2 revenue rose 19.9% to Rs 2,564.91 crore and profit to Rs 485.49 crore from Rs 339.39 crore; consolidated profit fell to Rs 724.80 crore. Auditors said Neyveli land shortages create uncertainty about continued operations and highlighted a Rs 407.32 crore disputed regulatory liability. The Board approved up to Rs 666 crore for its wholly owned green energy subsidiary and Rs 1,200 crore of refinancing.
Profit growth helps, but uncertainty over continued operations, regulatory disputes and consolidated debt of 1.22 times equity could cap gains.
