NPR Finance's board approved unaudited financial results for Q2 FY26 (quarter ended 30 Sept 2025) and H1 FY26, which showed weakness. Total income for Q2 stood at ₹145.86 lakhs versus ₹189.65 lakhs in Q2 FY25, a decline of about 23%. The company slipped back into a loss in Q2 with a PAT of ₹(11.58) lakhs, after a small profit of ₹14.42 lakhs in Q1 FY26. For the half-year, revenue from operations fell to ₹258.10 lakhs from ₹372.31 lakhs (down ~31%) and PAT dropped sharply to ₹2.84 lakhs from ₹14.50 lakhs. Operating cash flow for H1 was positive at ₹35 lakhs. Statutory auditor Deoki Bijay & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report. The board also approved the closure of the Ahmedabad branch effective 1 March 2026, citing unviable operations.
The Q2 loss reversal, sharp fall in half-year revenue and profit, and the closure of a branch signal continued pressure on the NBFC's core lending business. Shareholders should expect subdued near-term earnings momentum, though the clean auditor review and still-positive cash flow limit immediate solvency concerns.
