PAT rose 31.8% to Rs 34.77 cr from Rs 26.39 cr, aided by Rs 2.65 cr exceptional insurance claim gain from the Waluj fire. EPS stood at Rs 3.59 versus Rs 2.72. Consolidated revenue grew about 19% to Rs 369.53 cr; consolidated PAT up around 15% to Rs 37.76 cr. Board also approved a Rs 50 cr corporate guarantee for subsidiary NRB Unitec Friction Solutions.
Strong earnings beat with healthy margins; insurance windfall is one-off but Rs 50 cr guarantee for JV subsidiary adds contingent exposure for the parent.
