NTPC Board declared a second interim dividend of Rs 2.75 per share for FY26, payable on Feb 25, 2026. Q3 FY26 standalone profit rose about 5.8% YoY to Rs 4,986.94 cr on revenue of Rs 40,643.79 cr. For 9M FY26, profit grew to Rs 14,414.95 cr from Rs 13,871.27 cr, while revenue dipped about 3% to Rs 122,383 cr. The auditor flagged the coal mining business transfer to wholly owned subsidiary NTPC Mining as an emphasis of matter.
Second interim dividend signals steady shareholder returns. Profit and operating margin grew despite a modest revenue dip, supporting earnings stability.
