Nucleus Software Exports Ltd reported audited standalone revenue of Rs 87,603 Lakhs for FY2025-26, up 5.3% from Rs 83,225 Lakhs in the previous year. However, standalone profit after tax declined significantly to Rs 11,674 Lakhs from Rs 16,300 Lakhs in the prior year—a drop of about 28%. The decline was primarily due to an exceptional charge of Rs 2,195 Lakhs on account of new labour codes implementation. Consolidated PAT stood at Rs 11,831 Lakhs versus Rs 16,176 Lakhs previously. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 12.50 per equity share (125% on face value of Rs 10), subject to shareholder approval. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. The company also reappointed Mr. Vishnu R Dusad as Managing Director for another five-year term from January 2027.
The stock may see negative reaction due to a significant 28% decline in annual profit, though the 5% revenue growth and dividend payout provide some support. The one-time labour code impact is non-recurring but will weigh on current-year earnings visibility.
