Nureca Limited has completed its share buyback programme, extinguishing 4,58,255 equity shares of face value Rs. 10 each that were bought back at Rs. 330 per share through the tender offer route. The buyback tendering period ran from December 18, 2025 to December 24, 2025, with shares extinguished on January 7, 2026. As a result, the company's paid-up equity share capital has reduced from Rs. 10,00,01,750 (1,00,00,175 shares) to Rs. 9,54,19,200 (95,41,920 shares). The total outflow for the buyback was approximately Rs. 15.12 crore. All shares were held in dematerialised form, and the extinguishment has been certified by the company's Managing Director, CEO, Secretarial Auditor, and the Registrar.
The buyback reduces the total share count, which generally increases earnings per share and is viewed positively by shareholders. Existing investors who did not tender their shares now own a slightly larger proportional stake in the company. The cash deployed (~Rs. 15.12 crore) is no longer available for other business uses.
