Nuvama Wealth Management's board, at its November 4, 2025 meeting, declared an interim dividend of Rs. 70 per equity share for FY26, with a record date of November 11, 2025 and payment by December 3, 2025. The board also approved a sub-division of equity shares from 1 share of Rs. 10 face value into 5 shares of Rs. 2 face value, aimed at improving affordability and retail participation, subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot. Additionally, the board cleared a Rs. 200 crore investment in the rights issue of wholly owned subsidiary Nuvama Wealth Finance Limited. On the financials, standalone net profit for H1 FY26 fell to Rs. 267.83 crore from Rs. 363.38 crore a year earlier, with Q2 standalone net profit dropping sharply to Rs. 46.35 crore from Rs. 316.84 crore, partly due to lower dividend income from subsidiaries.
Shareholders will receive a sizeable Rs. 70 per share interim dividend, but the weakening standalone earnings — driven largely by reduced subsidiary dividend flows — may dampen near-term sentiment. The 5:1 stock split will lower per-share price and improve liquidity, making the stock more accessible to retail investors.
