Nuvoco Vistas has disclosed receiving a show cause notice from the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Mumbai-6 on September 23, 2025, pertaining to financial year 2019-20. As per the details in Annexure A, the Excise & Taxation Officer in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana has raised a tax demand of Rs. 4.36 crores, comprising a Rs. 2.84 crore denial of input tax credit (without considering brought forward credit from FY 2018-19) and a duplicate demand of Rs. 1.47 crores based on GSTR-2A vs GSTR-3B mismatch. The company plans to file a reply before the concerned authority and has stated that the denial is incorrect and is expected to be set aside at the adjudication stage with no material financial impact.
