O. P. Chains Limited reported audited results for FY25 with total revenue falling to Rs 956.00 lakhs from Rs 1,439.31 lakhs in FY24, a decline of about 34%. Revenue from operations dropped sharply to Rs 818.43 lakhs from Rs 1,358.89 lakhs. Despite the revenue drop, profit before tax jumped to Rs 358.59 lakhs (FY24: Rs 230.75 lakhs), and net profit rose to Rs 271.25 lakhs from Rs 185.75 lakhs, up around 46%. Total expenses nearly halved to Rs 597.40 lakhs, helping margins expand sharply. EPS improved to Rs 3.96 from Rs 2.71. The statutory auditor M/s Garima & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no key audit matters flagged.
Higher profitability on lower revenue signals much stronger margins, which is positive for shareholders. However, the steep fall in operating revenue may concern investors about the core business momentum.
