On the reaction day the stock moved in line with Nifty Microcap 250, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

OCCL, the sole Indian producer of Insoluble Sulphur, has prompted the DGTR to start a countervailing duty probe into subsidised imports of the product from China. The investigation examines 79 alleged Chinese government subsidy programmes and will recommend duty levels to remove injury to the domestic industry. An anti-dumping duty on these imports is already in force since June 2025. Financial impact is not quantifiable yet and depends on the final DGTR findings and the Ministry of Finance decision.
Positive for OCCL as a potential duty would shield it from subsidised Chinese imports, supporting prices and market share. No immediate financial impact.
