ONGC has informed the exchanges about being allotted shares on a rights basis in its two joint venture entities — Bharat Ethane One IFSC Private Limited and Bharat Ethane Two IFSC Private Limited — both registered in GIFT City, Gandhinagar. In each JV, ONGC was allotted 70,30,676 equity shares of ₹100 each, totalling roughly ₹70.31 crore per entity. After this allotment, ONGC's shareholding in both JVs stays at 50%, with the remaining 50% held by Japan's Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. (MOL). This follows ONGC's earlier communication on 22.01.2026 about entering these JVs at the 50% level.
This is a routine corporate update confirming ONGC's capital infusion into its two ethane-carrier JVs while maintaining equal partnership with MOL. No change in ONGC's effective economic interest in the JVs and no direct impact on ONGC's own shareholding or stock price is implied.
