Om Infra Limited reported a sharp sequential and year-on-year decline in Q1 FY26. Standalone revenue from operations fell to ₹9,977.70 lakhs from ₹16,393.99 lakhs in Q1 FY25 (down ~39%), while standalone net profit collapsed to ₹99.06 lakhs from ₹1,313.44 lakhs (down ~92%). On a consolidated basis, the company slipped into a loss with a net loss of ₹98.40 lakhs versus a profit of ₹1,253.89 lakhs a year ago, on revenue of ₹10,434.12 lakhs. The Engineering segment continued to drive revenue (₹9,839.20 lakhs standalone) but its profit fell sharply to ₹569.34 lakhs, while the Real Estate segment stayed in the red. The company highlighted new order wins including the Dibang Hydro Project (₹199 Cr) and a UP water distribution project (₹127 Cr), and expects a Q2 ramp-up from Jal Jeevan Mission fund flows.
The steep YoY drop in revenue and profit, combined with a consolidated loss, signals weak near-term operating performance despite a strong order book. The auditor flagged a modified opinion over the un-audited Nepal branch (₹1,031.15 lakhs in revenue) and missing internal audit, which may concern investors. The sizeable new orders and expected Jal Jeevan Mission momentum could support H2 FY26 recovery.
