Omax Autos' board approved audited results for Q4 and FY25 on May 2, 2025. Revenue from operations grew ~4% YoY to ₹36,925.86 lakhs (FY24: ₹35,526.27 lakhs), with Q4 revenue up ~10% at ₹11,419.89 lakhs. Profit after tax surged to ₹2,154.65 lakhs (FY24: ₹1,165.75 lakhs), an ~85% jump, helped by an exceptional gain of ₹1,805.71 lakhs from sale of property, plant and equipment. Q4 standalone PAT fell sharply to ₹49.15 lakhs vs ₹1,658.66 lakhs in Q4 FY24 (which had a larger one-time gain). The company also re-appointed two internal auditors for FY26 and accepted the resignation of CS and Compliance Officer Mohit Srivastava, effective May 6, 2025.
Operating performance improved meaningfully with pre-exceptional PBT rising sharply YoY, and the company used asset sale proceeds to cut borrowings (long-term debt down from ~₹7,000 to ~₹4,244 lakhs), strengthening the balance sheet. However, the sharp Q4 PAT dip (vs a high base) and the exit of the compliance officer are minor negatives; investors should watch for sustainability of core operations without exceptional items.
