Omax Autos reported FY25 revenue from operations of ₹36,925.86 lakhs, up ~3.9% from ₹35,526.27 lakhs in FY24. Profit before exceptional items and tax jumped sharply to ₹1,725.95 lakhs vs just ₹48.06 lakhs last year, driven by lower input costs and other expenses. FY25 PAT rose to ₹2,154.65 lakhs (EPS ₹10.07) vs ₹1,165.75 lakhs (EPS ₹5.45), an ~85% increase, boosted by an exceptional gain of ₹1,805.71 lakhs (largely from sale of property, plant & equipment). Q4 FY25 was weak with PAT of just ₹49.15 lakhs vs ₹1,658.66 lakhs in Q4 FY24, as last year's quarter had a large one-time exceptional gain. The auditor (BGJC & Associates LLP) issued an unmodified opinion, and the board accepted the resignation of CS Mohit Srivastava effective May 6, 2025.
Full-year PAT growth of ~85% (aided by one-time gains) is positive but Q4 PAT collapsed ~97% YoY, suggesting weak underlying quarter. Borrowings have come down materially and operating cash flow improved to ₹3,417 lakhs, which is supportive for the stock; investors should watch sustainability of margins after asset-sale gains normalise.
