Elevation Capital V Limited along with its Persons Acting in Concert (SAIF III Mauritius Company Limited, SAIF Partners India IV Limited, and Elevation Capital V FII Holdings Limited) sold 12,800,000 equity shares (2.00% of total share capital) of One 97 Communications Ltd (Paytm's parent) via open market on 18 November 2025. Before the sale, the combined group held 105,113,737 shares (16.46%), which has now reduced to 92,313,737 shares (14.45%). None of these entities belong to the promoter group. The breakup shows SAIF III Mauritius sold the largest chunk at 8,370,120 shares (1.31%), followed by SAIF Partners India IV at 3,553,390 shares (0.56%) and Elevation Capital V at 876,490 shares (0.14%).
This is a meaningful stake reduction by a significant institutional investor group (FII), which could create short-term selling pressure on the stock. However, even after this sale, the group retains a substantial 14.45% stake, suggesting they remain committed as long-term investors.
