Onida Electronics (formerly Mirc Electronics) reported Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 182.41 cr, up 27% YoY from Rs 143.81 cr. Net loss narrowed to Rs 14.18 cr vs Rs 47.38 cr (which included a Rs 31.79 cr exceptional charge). The board also allotted 1.35 lakh shares under ESOP at Rs 14.10 each, raising paid-up capital to Rs 36.95 cr. New auditor M M Nissim gave an unmodified review opinion. Name change from Mirc to Onida completed this quarter.
Revenue growth is encouraging but the company is still posting quarterly losses. ESOP dilution is minimal. Watch for sustained profit turnaround.
