Optimus Finance reported Q3 FY26 standalone total income of ₹32.50 lakhs, slightly down sequentially from ₹32.44 lakhs in Q2 but lower than ₹38.08 lakhs in Q3 last year. Standalone profit after tax came in at ₹10.76 lakhs for the quarter, compared to ₹16.82 lakhs in Q3 FY25, with 9-month PAT at ₹33.23 lakhs versus ₹48.12 lakhs a year earlier, indicating weaker performance in the standalone financing entity. On a consolidated basis, Q3 total income was around ₹4,432.67 lakhs, with PAT of ₹208.18 lakhs versus ₹295.91 lakhs in Q3 FY25, while 9-month consolidated PAT was ₹741.98 lakhs versus ₹753.67 lakhs. The oil trading and manufacturing subsidiary remains the main earnings driver. The board also approved switching the company's Registrar and Transfer Agent from MUFG Intime to Bigshare Services for better pricing. Auditor Shah Mehta & Bakshi issued an unmodified review report.
Shareholders should note that the standalone NBFC business is shrinking year-on-year, with both revenue and profits down, while consolidated earnings are also softer than last year; however, no audit qualifications were raised and the company maintains positive profitability with healthy other equity of ₹1,351.53 lakhs on a standalone basis.
