Orbit Exports reported strong Q1 FY26 results. Standalone revenue from operations rose about 28% year-on-year to Rs 6,300.45 lakhs (from Rs 4,921.69 lakhs), while total income grew to Rs 6,799.37 lakhs. Standalone net profit jumped roughly 54% to Rs 1,425.25 lakhs (from Rs 922.80 lakhs), pushing basic EPS to Rs 5.38 versus Rs 3.49. On a consolidated basis, including subsidiary Orbit Inc and associate Rainbow Line Trading LLC, net profit rose about 53% to Rs 1,500.85 lakhs. The board also approved the appointment of Nayan Parikh & Co as the new statutory auditor for a five-year term starting from the 42nd AGM on September 2, 2025, re-appointed Mr. Varun Daga as a director, and appointed S.K. Jain & Co as secretarial auditor. The current auditor G.M. Kapadia & Co issued an unqualified limited review on the Q1 numbers.
Strong topline growth and even sharper profit growth signal improving operating leverage, which is positive for shareholders. The auditor change is a governance event to watch but reflects a routine rotation, and the ESOP allotment of 41,500 shares is minor and not dilutive in any meaningful way.
