Orient Ceratech Limited reported strong FY26 results with standalone net profit of Rs. 1,868.20 Lacs, nearly doubling from Rs. 961.49 Lacs in FY25. Revenue from operations grew to Rs. 40,538.98 Lacs from Rs. 33,263.11 Lacs. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 0.35 per share (35% on face value of Rs. 1) for FY26, subject to shareholder approval. The company also approved the sale of its Thermal Power Station (Power Division) at the Porbandar plant for Rs. 3.75 Crores to SS Fabrication. The Power division has been a drag on performance, posting a loss of Rs. 432.76 Lacs in FY26 versus a small profit of Rs. 9.54 Lacs in FY25. Mr. Ketan Shrimankar was re-appointed as Independent Director for a second term, and Mr. Krupal Upadhyay was appointed as Company Secretary.
Strong profit growth and continued dividend payout are positive signals for shareholders. The sale of the loss-making power division could improve future profitability but requires upfront cash deployment for the transaction.
