ICRA Limited has upgraded Oriental Hotels Limited's credit ratings for its banking facilities with HDFC Bank. The long-term fund-based cash credit facility of Rs. 30 crore has been upgraded from ICRA A+ (Stable) to ICRA AA- (Stable). The short-term interchangeable limits of Rs. 20 crore have been upgraded from ICRA A1 to ICRA A1+. The rating action was based on ICRA's periodic monitoring review and was assigned on February 27, 2026.
This is a positive development for shareholders. The upgrade in both long-term and short-term credit ratings signals improved financial health and creditworthiness, which could translate to lower borrowing costs and better access to credit facilities for the company going forward.
