Oriental Rail Infrastructure reported audited FY25 consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 602.22 crore, up about 14.5% from Rs. 526.20 crore in FY24. Consolidated net profit however dipped slightly to Rs. 29.22 crore from Rs. 30.01 crore, and EPS fell to Rs. 4.68 from Rs. 5.51. On a standalone basis, revenue declined about 10.7% to Rs. 153.16 crore and net profit fell roughly 14% to Rs. 10.29 crore. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 0.10 per share (10% on face value of Rs. 1) subject to shareholder approval. The company disclosed an order book of Rs. 2,242.42 crore (including subsidiary Oriental Foundry). Statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion, and M/s. Shiv Hari Jalan & Co. was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY26–FY30).
Mixed results for shareholders: top-line growth on a consolidated basis is encouraging, but the slight drop in profit and a sharp swing to negative operating cash flow (Rs. 23.52 crore outflow vs Rs. 5.78 crore inflow last year) raise concerns about working capital and cash quality. The strong Rs. 2,242 crore order book and small dividend are positives, while the secretarial auditor appointment is routine.
